Bodyweight Training For Fitness
It's More Than Strength,
Endurance & Fat Loss! When most people think about fitness, they think of strength, endurance and leanness... not necessarily in that order.
Depending on who you talk to... one person might emphasize strength, another cardiorespiratory endurance and yet another the thin, athletic body shape.
However, don’t get sidetracked form this fact, true fitness is a combination or all these qualities... and a whole lot more!
And you can use bodyweight training for fitness to improve them all!
What Exactly Is Fitness?
Fitness is a word commonly used in today's society, yet very much misunderstood.
The sad fact is, nailing down a clear, universal definition of physical fitness is no small task.
However, once you understand this universal definition of physical fitness, you will realize how important it is to your over-all physical training choices... leaving you wondering how you ever made an informed decision about your training without it.
The Definition Of Physical Fitness...
Fitness is the acceptable and deliberate compromise of competence and ability to perform in all the areas of cardiorespiratory endurance, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, accuracy and toughness to produce optimum performance results under the greatest amount of circumstances.
True fitness is not about improving one or two physical abilities, or even looking a certain way... fitness is about improving all the physical abilities to excel in the activities of sport, work and life, and having the body that exemplifies these abilities.
Within this definition of physical fitness is this important fact... fitness is a compromise.
The definition of physical fitness makes one thing crystal clear...
The more competent you are in all of the physical abilities, and the larger set of circumstances in which you can successfully apply those abilities... the fitter you will be.
And as a result of improving these performance abilities, your body makes positive, visible changes, manifesting your physical fitness capabilities as a strong, lean, athletic body.
So What’s This Got To Do With
Bodyweight Training For Fitness?Bodyweight training, (using bodyweight exercises and calisthenics), is an excellent way to improve all the physical abilities needed for fitness.
Just throwing a bunch of bodyweight exercises together and cranking out some reps will not yield the best results... and learning by trial and error will take too long.
Why not use a step-by-step, progressive system already producing great results?
If you want to develop a strong, durable and attractive body that is FIT FOR ALL OCCASIONS... The Muscle Experiment is for you! This incredible bodyweight calisthenics workout progression system is available for immediate download... so you can get started building a better body for a better life TODAY!
Other training methods actually are guilty of maximizing one ability at the expense of all others.
When you use bodyweight training for fitness, you can quickly, fluidly and seamlessly move from training one physical ability to training another using the same tool (your own body).
Now, isn’t that more like how we use our bodies in real life?
And what’s the greatest?
You don’t need a separate piece of equipment to train each individual physical ability.
Nothing could be more efficient than using the very thing you are trying to improve (your body) as the tool for it’s improvement... truly amazing!
Traditionally, bodyweight training for fitness has been utilized in the warm up and cool down sections of the workout (as they should)... but bodyweight training can be so much more than that.
You can get an excellent bodyweight training workout anywhere, anytime... and you don’t even need costly equipment or drive to the gym!
A properly structured bodyweight training for fitness program can SIMULTANEOUSLY improve strength, cardiovascular endurance and burn fat... as well as improve flexibility, balance, speed, coordination, agility, power and toughness.
Now that’s what I call a workout worth doing!
In my book "The Muscle Experiment" I talk about how I was able to put on a solid 39lbs of solid muscle in less than 6 months with bodyweight training, and exactly how YOU can do it as well. In case you haven't downloaded The Muscle Experiment, I suggest you download it immediately and start implementing the little known techniques. This alone should put you on the road to massive size and strength.
To your success,
Mike Thiga
