Charles Atlas Exercises

Dynamic Tension Charles Atlas isometrics exercises

The Charles Atlas Dynamic Tension program promised to change you from weak and skinny to a strong muscle man and that you would see results in only 7 days.

Dynamic is defined as "pertaining to or characterized by energy or effective action; vigorously active or forceful; energetic". And tension is defined as "the act of stretching or straining".

Charles Atlas Dynamic Tension, as defined above, involves both moving and flexing your muscles. This method combines both bodyweight exercises and isometrics.

Some of Charles Atlas favorite exercises were:

Squat Thrusts - Start in a standing position and squat down. Place your hands on ground and kick your legs out behind you then quickly return to squat position and stand back up.

Finger Lock Chest Pull - Lock both of your middle fingers together. Pull hard outward and while doing so, slowly lift your hands from waist level to above your head and then back down again.

Lateral Shoulder Raise with manual resistance - Grasp hold of your right wrist with your left hand. Slowly raise your left arm up and out to the side while resisting with left hand. Lower and repeat. When tired then work your left side.

Bicep Curl with manual resistance - Grasp hold of your left wrist with your right hand. Curl your left arm up towards your shoulder while resisting with right hand. When tired then work your right side.

I am not putting the Charles Atlas exercise program down, I am sure you can shape up using it, but the truth is it was published over 80 years ago and there have been many discoveries in exercise science in that time. And if you want to build serious muscle the above exercises aren't going to cut it

The Muscle Experiment is the most advanced and effective bodyweight exercise course ever because it takes all the past knowledge of bodyweight exercise and combines it with 21st century science to give you the fastest gains in muscle size, strength and definition possible!

Isn't it time you learned the most up to date bodyweight exercise secrets for muscle size?

In my book "The Muscle Experiment" I talk about how I was able to put on a solid 39lbs of solid muscle in less than 6 months with bodyweight training, and exactly how YOU can do it as well. In case you haven't downloaded The Muscle Experiment, I suggest you download it immediately and start implementing the little known techniques. This alone should put you on the road to massive size and strength.

To your success,

Mike Thiga
